Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to the website y2mate.center and the free online YouTube to MP3 and MP4 converter provided by Y2Mate. By using the website, converter, search, or download features, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Y2Mate lets you paste a supported YouTube URL or search by song, artist, or video title, then convert one supported video at a time into an MP3 audio file or MP4 video file. Audio quality options may include 128kbps, 192kbps, and up to 320kbps when available. Video quality depends on the source. The service runs in your web browser. No account and no desktop app are required. We may change, limit, or stop parts of the service at any time.
2. Eligibility and personal use
You may use Y2Mate only if you can form a binding agreement and only in a lawful way. The converter is intended for personal, non-commercial use unless we give written permission otherwise. You are responsible for how you use converted files on your device.
3. Lawful content only
You must only convert or download content that you own, that you have permission to use, or that you are legally allowed to download. Do not use Y2Mate to copy, share, or distribute copyrighted music, videos, or other material without the rights holder's permission. YouTube videos, titles, thumbnails, and audio remain the property of their owners. Y2Mate does not grant you any license to that content.
4. How conversion works
Search results and conversions depend on supported public videos and third-party processing. Restricted, private, deleted, age-restricted, or livestream content may fail. Very long videos may take longer or may not be supported. Playlist conversion is not offered: you must convert each supported video separately. A higher MP3 bitrate cannot add audio detail that was not in the original source.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use Y2Mate to break the law, infringe copyright, overload or attack the website, scrape the service in an automated way that harms availability, spread malware, or try to bypass security or usage limits. You may not misrepresent Y2Mate or use our name, logo, or site to mislead others.
6. Intellectual property of Y2Mate
The Y2Mate name, website design, text, and branding on y2mate.center belong to Y2Mate or its licensors. You may not copy the site, reuse our content at scale, or present Y2Mate as your own service.
7. No warranties
The website and converter are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that every YouTube video will convert, that quality options will always be available, that conversion will be instant, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use Y2Mate at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Y2Mate and its operators are not liable for any loss, damage, claim, or cost arising from your use of the converter, search results, downloads, third-party content, or inability to use the service. This includes device issues, lost files, copyright disputes, and interruptions.
9. Third-party services
Conversion and search may rely on third-party tools or embeddable services. Those providers have their own terms. Y2Mate is not YouTube and is not affiliated with Google or YouTube.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms of Service by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of y2mate.center after changes means you accept the updated terms.
